Executive (Projects) – Sabarmati Gas Limited (A JV of GSPC and BPCL), Gandhinagar
Batch of 2013-2017, BTech (Civil Engineering)
Engineering is all about creating things I believe. Outcome based learning motivates a student for performance. In NU, every subject used to be followed by Innovative assignment, project or term paper. That had not only helped me connecting to the topic deeply but also had given me another perspective to it. Department of Civil Engineering is known for its best in class laboratories; which has really help me learning by doing. Especially being a student of Minor Specialization (an advanced course offered by NU), I got the opportunity to explore nuances of experimentation in structural engineering. That apart, NU provides the opportunity to take the subjects from other departments and institutes. Although I was a student of Civil Engineering, I got a chance to study Information and Technology (IT) Law (University Elective) and Internet and Web Technology (Institute Elective).
Now being a part of an esteemed organization, I am realizing the importance of student organisations. I had the opportunity to be a part of two of many such clubs. It helped me cultivating organizational and interpersonal skills.
In a nutshell, NU has played a vital role in nurturing me during the most important 4 years of my life. I am thankful to my teachers, seniors and friends for being a part of this wonderful journey. I will always be a proud alumni of NU.
