As part of Silver Jubilee Year Celebration of Institute of Technology, Department has invited Prof.Ikuo Towhata, Professor Emeritus, Civil Engineering, University of Tokyo, Japan and Director, Towhata Architects & Engineers, Japan on 23/12/2019. Prof.Towhata has visited all the laboratories of Civil Engineering Department, interacted with faculty members as well as he has delivered an expert lecture on “Summarizing Geotechnical Activities after the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake of Japan”. Prof.Towhata also had an interaction with Additional Director, School of Engineering, Institute of Technology, Nirma University.
