Knowledge Sharing Session is an initiative by IEI Students’ Chapter, Civil Engineering Department, ITNU as an attempt to establish a practice of creating, acquiring, synthesizing, learning and using knowledge & experience of fellow students/friends for the enlightenment of all. The objective is that during these sessions interested students of the Civil Engineering Department (UG and PG) will share their knowledge on particular topics by means of talk, presentation, demonstration, discussion, quiz etc.
ETABS is an engineering software product that caters to multi-story building analysis and design. Modeling tools and templates, code-based load prescriptions, analysis methods and solution techniques, all coordinate with the grid-like geometry unique to this class of structure. Basic or advanced systems under static or dynamic conditions may be evaluated using ETABS.
So to share the knowledge on this topic and to give exposure about various Civil Engineering Application of STAAD Pro, the next session of the Knowledge Sharing Session series is on Modeling of RC building using ETABS by Ajaysinh Jadeja (21mclc06), student of M.Tech(CASAD) Final Year of Civil Engineering Department, ITNU.
