On 5th October 2024, Civil Engineering Department, Nirma University organized a site visit for our B.Tech. Semester-III, M.Tech. CASAD and CTM Semester-I students to the cement manufacturing plant of Hi-Bond Cement (India) Pvt. Ltd.
This visit was part of the curriculum for the following courses:
1. Construction Materials for B.Tech. students
2. Advanced Concrete Technology for M.Tech. (CASAD) students
3. Advances in Construction Materials for M.Tech. (CTM) students
A total of 49 students participated in this visit, gaining valuable firsthand experience of cement manufacturing processes. Dr. Hasan M Rangwala, Prof. Devi Sendhil, and Mr. Hitesh Prajapati accompanied and guided the students.
