On this Teacher’s Day (5th September 2025), our Civil Engineering students organized a warm and heartfelt celebration to honour their teachers. The event was filled with gratitude, joy, and respect – reminding us of the timeless bond between a teacher and a student.
As the Sanskrit saying goes:
“गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः ।
गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥”
(The Guru is Brahma, the Guru is Vishnu, the Guru is Maheshwara. The Guru is the Supreme Being himself – salutations to that revered Guru.)
We are truly blessed to have such enthusiastic students who recognize and celebrate the role of teachers in shaping their journey. Their thoughtful gestures made the day very special for the faculty.
