NUZEAL
2025, the much-anticipated annual fest hosted by the Institute of Law Nirma University in collaboration with the Students’ Welfare Board, commenced with a vibrant inaugural ceremony. The event was graced by Padma Shri Joravarsinh Danubhai Jadav as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. K K Patel (Vice-President, Nirma University), Dr. Anup K Singh (Director General, Nirma University), and Prof. (Dr.) Madhuri Parikh (Director, Institute of Law), alongside other esteemed dignitaries from the Tribal Research Institute, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of Gujarat.
In his address, Shri Joravarsinh Danubhai Jadav highlighted the significance of preserving India’s rich cultural heritage, stating, “To truly understand our roots, we must return to our villages and experience our traditions firsthand.”
The inaugural ceremony featured several cultural highlights, including a Tribal Handicrafts Stall, showcasing authentic handmade tribal artefacts, which will remain open throughout the fest from 12th to 14th February 2025. A mesmerising Rathwa dance performance by a national-level tribal dance group from Chhota Udaipur captivated the audience, while the much-anticipated Folk-Tribal Dance Competition saw the Institute of Commerce emerging as the winner, with the Institute of Law securing the runner-up position.
With an exciting lineup of music, dance, theatre, literary contests, fine arts displays, and a grand personality competition, NUZEAL 2025 promises to be a spectacular celebration of culture, heritage, and artistic expression at Nirma University.
