Ltd. has organized a National Seminar ?Advances in Building Materials and Construction Practices? under the auspices of NUiCONE 2019, the 7th International Conference on Engineering at Institute of Technology, Nirma University. Eminent speakers were invited from India as well as abroad. Industry professionals, academicians, practicing engineers and civil engineering students were invited to attend this seminar.
Prof.Radhakrishna Pillai, Associate Professor, IIT Madras, has shared his views on Strategies to Prevent and Control Corrosion in Concrete Structures. Mr.Ashitkumar Shah, Cut and Cover Station and Tunnel Expert from JICA Study team, Mumbai has presented on Concrete Structure Design and Sustainability of the Project Life Cycle. Mr.Manish Mokal, Assistant General Manager, Quality Excellence Cell at AFCONS has shared various case studies containing extreme engineering and construction. Dr.Rishi Gupta, Associate Professor, University of Victoria has delivered his talk on recent developments in use of drones in monitoring civil infrastructure. Mr.Pranav Desai, Vice President ? R & D, Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. has shared about various innovative products and solutions.
