Academics Without Borders (AWB) is a bilingual NGO based in Canada. Its mission is to help people in the developing world realize their dreams through higher education because education is the key to a flourishing society. AWB’s projects are involved in the full range of university activities from expanding and improving existing institutions and programs to helping create new ones.
Rishi Gupta has completed a project on “Improving safety, ethics and professional practice in Engineering via youth training”. He delivered a course at Nirma University in India in August 2022 and was in fact the first AWB volunteer to return to travel since March 2020.
