Expert Talk on “Career Progression with Various Certifications”
On 19th September 2025, the Civil Engineering Department, Nirma University had the privilege of hosting an insightful expert lecture for our UG (Semester VII) and PG (CASAD & CTM) students.
We were delighted to welcome back our distinguished alumnus, Mr. Shaurya Shah, PMP®, currently serving as Program Manager at Treadwell Group Pty Ltd, Australia, where he leads Composite Pre-Fabricated Solution projects in the Mining and High-Speed Rail sectors.
With an outstanding academic and professional journey – B.Eng. (Civil), M.Tech. (Structural Engineering) from ITNU, MBA from IMNU, PMP Certification, and now pursuing a part-time PhD – Mr. Shah shared his experiences and delivered a lecture on: “Career Progression with Various Certifications”
The session provided our students with valuable insights into the significance of professional certifications in shaping career growth in today’s competitive environment.
The lecture was followed by the much-awaited BIS Pitch Tank, making it a day full of learning and opportunities.
We sincerely thank Mr. Shah for taking the time to guide and inspire our students, and we look forward to more such engaging interactions with our esteemed alumni.
