Manan Patel, a third-year Civil Engineering student at Nirma University, recently represented Gujarat at the Young Leaders Dialogue during the National Youth Festival 2025 in New Delhi on 11th and 12th January. Organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the event brought together 3,000 young changemakers from across the country, selected through a highly competitive process.
Manan earned his place through a rigorous five-round selection process:
• Quiz Round – Shortlisted from 83,000 participants.
• Essay Writing – 817 students advanced.
• Idea Presentation – 250 participants selected.
• Personal Interview – 50 finalists.
• Final Selection – 45 youth, including Manan, represented Gujarat.
At the event, he presented his ideas on “Enhancing Productivity in Agriculture,” suggesting practical interventions to address key challenges in the sector. His insights received valuable feedback from experts, including Sarita Ahlawat, who guided participants in refining their proposals.
The dialogue also provided a platform to interact with leaders such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Dharmendra Pradhan, and industry figures like Anand Mahindra.
Manan’s achievement highlights his dedication and innovative mindset. We congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition and wish him continued success in his journey toward meaningful impact.
