Faculty members from the Civil Engineering Department, Nirma University—Dr. Sonal Thakkar, Prof. Jahanvi Suthar, Dr Tejas Joshi, and Dr. Hasan M Rangwala – participated in the National Symposium on Jute Fibres: Sustainable Solutions through Technological Advancements, held on 18th September 2024 at the J.B. Auditorium, Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The symposium, organized by the National Jute Board – India (NJB) and Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA), Ahmedabad, brought together more than 100 participants from the jute industry, academia, and research organizations across India.
This event was a fantastic opportunity to explore innovations and sustainable solutions through technological advancements in jute fibres!
