FSAI Students Chapter, Department of Civil Engineering in collaboration with the FSAI Gujarat Chapter – Women’s Wing has organized a session on “Increasing Awareness on Social Media, Cybersecurity, and Women Safety” for B. Tech. Civil Engineering students on 13 September 2023 at A-101 from 11:00 AM to 01: 00 PM
Dr Lavina Sinha (IPS), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 1, Ahmedabad City, was chief guest and keynote speaker of the function. Ms. Kaivaishin, Cyber Security & Digital Forensic Analyst & Founder, Invesic Cyber Forensics Cyber LLP delivered a talk on Cyber security. The Event was attended by various stake holders, including the members of FSAI Gujarat chapter especially women’s wing.
Dr. Sinha discussed the types of cybercrimes and use of social media in such crimes. She explained the same with the actual cases of cybercrimes in Ahmedabad and especially the Sola Police jurisdiction, Nirma University come the jurisdiction of Sola Police Station.
Ms. Kaivaishin discussed the potential threats related to cyber security. She also discussed how one can save him/herself from the cybercrimes.
The activity is organised with the help of Ms Megha Bhatt (Alumni). She is working as Chapter secretary FSAI Gujrat Chapter.
The programme was attended by about 200 Students.
