We are pleased to announce that the research project titled “Climate Adaptive Pervious Pavement Systems for Sustainable Stormwater Management in Urban Gujarat” has been approved and sanctioned by the Climate Change Department, Government of Gujarat.
This project addresses critical challenges of urban flooding and climate change by promoting pervious pavement systems that enhance stormwater infiltration and groundwater recharge. The outcomes are expected to support climate-resilient urban infrastructure and provide sustainable, scalable solutions for rapidly urbanizing regions of Gujarat.
The project has been sanctioned with a total grant of ₹20,00,000/- for a duration of three years.
