🌐 Through this program, they will gain invaluable experience and receive a stipend of Rs. 20,000 per month.

Congratulations!!! We are very proud to announce that the team of Shivam Akbari (21MCLC01), Jeet Machchhoya (21BCL065), and Om Meta (21BCL070) from Civil Engineering Department, Nirma University finished as second runners up in the event CONQUER-IT at AAKAR-Annual Civil Engineering Technical Festival organized by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. CONQUER-IT is a technical event that tested student’s ability to design and cast pervious concrete with high compressive and flexural strength. This event consisted of three rounds of competition, and the top 19 teams were selected for the final round.
We would also like to extend a special thanks to Dr Tejas Joshi, who guided the competition and helped our students achieve this milestone.

Jenish Patel (20MCLC10) received the Best Paper Award / Certificate for presenting a paper on “Comparative Study of Outrigger and Wall-Frame Structural Systems in Steel-Concrete Composite Tall Buildings” during the International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Infrastructure, organized at PDEU, Gandhinagar, from August 23-25th, 2022
Sahaj Patel (17BCL101) has cleared the examination of IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) Accredited Professional with flying colors. He havs opened avenues for himself and can now participate in green building projects registered under the “IGBC rating programmes” such as IGBC green homes , IGBC new building , IGBC factory building , IGBC green townships , IGBC green existing buildings (operations and maintenance), etc. Department heartily congratulates Sahaj for this achievement.
Parthav Patel, students of MTech (CASAD) – Sem III has presented a paper titled “Comparison of GSA 2003 and 2016 Guidelines for Evaluating Progressive Collapse Potential of Steel Moment Resisting Frame Building” in 35th Indian Engineering Congress (IEC) organized in virtual (ONLINE) mode by The Institution of Engineers (India) during December 18-20, 2020. The paper has been adjudged Best Paper in Civil Engineering Division.
Mr Ajay Gelot, a student of M Tech (CASAD), received ISTE National Award for Best M Tech Thesis in Civil Engineering from Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi, for the thesis titled “Development of Interaction Curve for Composite Column”.
