Department of Civil Engineering, established in 1996, offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes. The BTech program of the department is NBA accredited under Tier-I category. It strives to impart fundamental knowledge along with professional skills leading to the overall development of the students.
The Department works in core areas of Civil Engineering such as Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Technology, Planning and Management, Surveying, Remote Sensing and GIS, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Water Resources & Irrigation. Department has well-equipped laboratories pertaining to the various areas of Civil Engineering. Laboratories are regularly up-graded and modernised.
